#CountryWeddings

Welcome to the summer wedding of the year. It was at the family homestead in Eastern Tennessee and it was lovely!

The nature that surround the base of Lookout Mountain at the Chattanooga Nature Center is diverse, colorful and natural. There a magnificent trees and meadow full of flowers that attracted a variety of butterflies and trails to follow to the top of the mountain. It is one of my favorite places to visit in  Chattanooga. A place that opens the book of nature and tells us about the goodness of God, it all His created glory!

This past weekend, at this lovely location, overlooking a valley near Chattanooga we had a Bridal Shower. There were cut flowers and some planted in containers surrounded by fresh moss from the woods.

Welcome garden at the door.

Beaded fruit on the serving counter.
Three tiers of flowers, fruits and veggies.
Lantern garden.
Sweet little pansy pots.

Little pansies planted in a bed of moss

The Theme was a bit Bohemian, and included lots of purple, some gold and black and an assortment of fruits and flowers.  It's a taste of the wedding to come.
