This past weekend, at this lovely location, overlooking a valley near Chattanooga we had a Bridal Shower. There were cut flowers and some planted in containers surrounded by fresh moss from the woods.

Welcome garden at the door.

Beaded fruit on the serving counter.
Three tiers of flowers, fruits and veggies.
Lantern garden.
Sweet little pansy pots.

Little pansies planted in a bed of moss
An bird's eye view
A lantern filled with flowers

The Theme was a bit Bohemian, and included lots of purple, some gold and black and an assortment of fruits and flowers.  It's a taste of the wedding to come.

Love and Lace make a shower perfect....#Bridalshowers

Showers for Brides to be can be so much fun. When the event takes place in a beautiful location, the Bride is precious and the guests are special friends it becomes a day to remember!
Here are just a few pictures from a lacy, girly shower from 2012.  Vintage was just the thing for this event. The wedding was to take place on a lovely homestead farm in Tennessee.  Antiques and rustic furniture would create a perfect outdoor wedding. So to get in the spirit we used old mason jars, and a collection of old books, cards, hankies and lots of dollies and lace table clothes. The flowers were done with a eye towards handpicked garden bouquets.
Lace seemed to be the theme of summer showers.Add caption
